Katja Luketić

Katja Luketić holds a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Kinesiotherapy from the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb. She completed her secondary education in hospitality and tourism in Opatija.

She has extensive experience in sport, first as an active athlete (gymnastics, skiing, and shooting), and later as a coach in artistic gymnastics and athletics for persons with disabilities. She has worked with preschool children, as well as students in primary and secondary education, and has also been engaged as an external associate at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Rijeka. She has served as a coach at three Paralympic Games and is active as a recreation programme leader, ski instructor, and project manager for sports initiatives for children and youth, including programmes for children with developmental difficulties.

She has also contributed to Erasmus+ Sport projects. She serves as Secretary General of the Sports Association of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and holds leadership roles in several professional and sports organisations, including the Kinesiology Association Rijeka and the Athletics Club Spektar for persons with disabilities.

She is a recipient of the Croatian Kinesiology Association Award for outstanding professional contribution.
