PAR University of Applied Sciences offers an international student internship program that includes project-based learning, research assignments, development of business skills and competencies, and enhancement of personal development. The program enables motivated students to develop new ideas, solve demanding tasks and develop new professional skills, all while getting to know and discover a new cultural environment. This opportunity is offered to interested students through the Erasmus+ program, but also based on PAR’s membership in eminent international organizations such as the European Association of ERASMUS Coordinators (EAEC), New Initiatives and Challenges in Europe (NICE) Network, and Businet.
PAR University of Applied Sciences as the host institution, and the Iacocca Institute of Lehigh University from Pennsylvania cooperate within the framework of the Iacocca International Internship Program, which was awarded the Andrew Heiskell Award for Innovation in International Education in 2019, in recognition of the leading concept of student mobility that provides students professional experiential learning in the global market and thus ensures the acquisition of a competitive advantage in the labor market. It is a student exchange program for the purpose of professional practice lasting 6 to 12 weeks during summer months.
PAR University of Applied Sciences is also a member of the “Croatian Universities for EU Projects” consortium, which was accredited by the association Informo in 2017. In this way, students of UC PAR are enabled to go on exchange for the purpose of professional practice, which further facilitates and encourages the mobility of students within the Erasmus+ program.
