The specialized graduate professional study Business management is based on the acquisition of competencies applicable in managerial practice, such as the development of critical thinking, leadership and teamwork, generating new business ideas, applying digital tools and communication skills in sports.

By choosing the specialization Management of small and medium-sized enterprises, Financial management, or Management in sports, students in the second year of their studies focus on acquiring specific competencies for a certain area of business.

Management in sports major is adapted to the acquisition of managerial competencies for managing sports organizations.

  • Completed undergraduate study, i.e. 180 ECTS points acquired
  • Transfer from another faculty – printout of grades and completed courses

Documentation required for enrollment:

  1. Copy of both sides of the ID card with a clearly visible photo of the student,
  2. Certificate or diploma of completed undergraduate studies (original or notarized copy)
  3. Birth certificate (original or notarized copy)
  4. Certificate of nationality (original or notarized copy)
  5. Two photos of 4X6 cm size

Students have the opportunity to choose a course of study. In the 3rd semester, students choose one of the three offered courses:

  • Financial management
  • Management of small and medium enterprises
  • Management in sports

Classes at the graduate study are held on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, and the courses are taken and completed in rounds.

General competences

Upon completion of the specialized graduate professional study Management in sports, the student will acquire the following general competencies:

  • Make appropriate financial decisions based on modern techniques and methods of financial analysis and evaluation
  • Propose solutions to problems that arise within the work organization
  • Manage heterogeneous teams, ensuring efficiency with a high work ethic, and hold management positions in the organization
  • Create a strategic marketing plan for small and medium enterprises
  • Create, supervise, and implement projects in the organization and manage the entire project cycle
  • Integrate elements of the digital economy into the operations of small and medium-sized enterprises
  • Critically evaluate the validity of different types of contracts that appear in the business of small and medium-sized enterprises
  • Use quantitative methods in the field of business decision-making of small and medium-sized enterprises

In addition to general competences, students will acquire specific competences with regard to the chosen course during their studies. Accordingly, the following professional competencies are defined by area:

  • Manage and coordinate all business processes of sports-oriented organizations and business entities
  • Recognize and use the synergy of sports in the economy in everyday work
  • Independently organize sports events and manage heterogeneous teams during similar activities

Filling out the enrollment form and signing the education contract

After submitting the documentation, the Enrollment Form is received (and filled out) in the Study Record office, and by signing the Education Agreement, you become a student of PAR University College.

Within a week after enrollment, it is necessary to pay the enrollment fee in the amount of HRK 2,000.00 / €265.45 (paid during the first enrollment) and the first installment of the tuition fee (if the tuition fee is paid in installments) or the entire amount of the tuition fee (if the tuition fee is one-time payment). The enrollment fee for the first academic year is HRK 2,000.00 / €265.45, and the enrollment fee for multiple years of study is HRK 1,000.00 / €132.72.

General objectives of the specialist graduate professional study program in Business management majoring in Management in sports (at the HKO 7 level):

  1. Provide systematic, high-quality education at the graduate level in the field of sports management;
  2. Enable the acquisition of specific specialist skills and knowledge necessary for conducting complex business operations and managing organizational changes in a sports organization;
