Specialized graduate professional study Business Management is based on the acquisition of competencies applicable in managerial practice, such as the development of critical thinking, leadership and teamwork, generating new business ideas, applying digital tools and communication skills in everyday business.

By choosing the specialization Management of small and medium-sized enterprises, Financial management or Sports management, students in the second year of their studies focus on acquiring specific competencies for a certain area of business.

The Financial Management major enables the acquisition of competencies in the field of business finance and controlling in order to prepare future financial managers for business challenges.

  • Completed undergraduate study, i.e. 180 ECTS points acquired
  • Transfer from another faculty – printout of grades and completed courses

Documentation required for enrollment:

  1. Copy of both sides of the ID card with a clearly visible photo of the student,
  2. Certificates of high school education (original or notarized copy)
  3. Candidates who completed high school education outside of Croatia are required to enclose a Decision of the Ministry of Science and Education on the recognition of foreign educational qualifications
  4. Birth certificate (original or notarized copy)
  5. Certificate of nationality (original or notarized copy)
  6. Two photos of 4×6 cm size

Filling out the enrollment form and signing the education contract

After submitting the documentation, fill out the Enrollment Form that you’ll receive in the Study Record office, and by signing the Education Agreement, you become a student of PAR University College.

Within a week after enrollment, it is necessary to pay the enrollment fee in the amount of HRK 2,000.00 / €265.45 (paid during the first enrollment) and the first installment of the tuition fee (if the tuition fee is paid in installments) or the entire amount of the tuition fee (if the tuition fee is a one-time payment). The enrollment fee for the first academic year is HRK 2,000.00 / €265.45, and the enrollment fee for higher years of study is HRK 1,000.00 / €132.72.

Fixed conversion rate: €1 = HRK 7.53450.

Students have the opportunity to choose a course of study. In the 3rd semester, students have the freedom to choose between three offered courses:

  • Financial management
  • Management of small and medium enterprises
  • Management in sports

Graduate study classes are held on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, and the courses are taken and completed in rounds.

Upon completion of the specialized graduate study in Business Management, the student will acquire the following general competencies:

  • Critically evaluate the validity of different types of contracts that appear in the business of small and medium-sized enterprises
  • Use quantitative methods in the field of business decision-making of small and medium-sized enterprises
  • In addition to general competences, the student will acquire specific competences with regard to the chosen direction during his studies. Accordingly, the following professional competencies are defined by area:

Competencies of financial management

  • Manage costs based on the results of financial statement analysis
  • Analyze financial statements and create an investment study for the needs of small and medium-sized companies
  • Apply professional knowledge about the risks of sources of financial resources, structure, and costs in a business context
  • Assess the value of small and medium-sized enterprises and their securities
  • Ensure the liquidity and solvency of micro, small, and medium enterprises
  • Make independent decisions related to the financial management of micro, small, and medium enterprises based on financial and/or investment criteria
  • Improve the business system, with an emphasis on the financial aspects of management
  • Formulate a strategy for solving crisis situations in a business context
  1. Provide systematic, high-quality education at the graduate level in the field of business finance management;
  2. Enable the acquisition of specific specialist skills and knowledge necessary for conducting complex business operations and managing organizational changes in the organization;
  3. Encourage specialization, mobility, and research zeal in order to acquire practical skills and knowledge necessary for financial management in a modern business environment.
