"I enrolled at PAR because of the great business opportunities that PAR University College provides. In my case, this means that I had found a job even before I graduated. I am grateful to all professors for helping me on my path towards finances. The big advantage is that PAR is a small college, so we enjoy the individual approach to each student. Also, the student internship that PAR offers is the reason I chose finances and got a job at Huawei Technologies in Zagreb as a finance assistant.

I have been playing basketball professionally for 17 years, and I enrolled at PAR because of the opportunities it offers to athletes. Since I have training twice a day, it is also necessary to balance my study obligations. I have no problem with that here. After my sports career, my wish is to pursue a career in sports management. The lecturers and colleagues are very professional, and I am very pleased with the study as it offers the possibility of an internship.

My sports career is over and I am convinced that PAR will help me find the right path and give me an idea what to do after it. PAR gives athletes the freedom to do what they love and study at the same time. That’s why I enrolled at PAR University College. I had a negative experience regarding professional involvement in sports and could not balance one with another. After so many years, PAR has allowed me to balance education and work and enjoy it.

I found out about PAR University College quite by accident. In a school competition, my sister won an English language course at PAR University College as an award. As she spoke English quite well, I decided to go to the course instead of her. I really liked it, so I decided to study Business Management. The internship is also excellent. So far I’ve been on the Gastro Hub team and at the WineRi festival.

It is almost impossible for professional athletes to study and play sports at the same time. I tried, I had enrolled at the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka, but soon I realized that it was impossible to balance all obligations. Then I realized, talking to some PAR students, including another professional athlete, a water polo player and national team member, Ivan Krapić, that PAR was an option for me.

I decided to enrol at PAR University College because I realized that it would leave me plenty of time to continue my sports career, that is, this business career I am pursuing today. I was right because absolutely everyone at PAR, from the professors, the people who work in the offices to the Dean herself, are extremely friendly and they help all of us athletes to study and also develop our careers successfully.

I enrolled in PAR precisely because of the possibility of studying with parallel career development. PAR provides flexibility and the possibility of simultaneous development of a job or sports career in addition to studies. Professional practice is also a very important determinant of studies at PAR. Not everything is in theory, and just the same ratio of theory and practice is something very positive. The knowledge I gained at PAR also helped me in my career as a tennis judge.

What I expected, and ultimately got - business independence, and in show business, especially in China and America, you need a cool head and business literacy. PAR has played a big role and given me support in my career development. Understanding, especially during my trip to the permanent gig in China last year, helped me set my priorities, but also to find myself in that world.

My experience is completely different because first came the job, and then only the study, and I did not expect that, at a time when I have been counting 37 years of swimming in business waters, it will prove to be an extraordinary choice. I gained the knowledge that allowed me to improve my business and the expectations were definitely met and I did not regret a single moment. Lifelong learning enriches me!
